Access Control and Security Systems



Access control security systems can be electronic or physical systems that control who have access to a building or a computer network. Often these systems are combined with an RFID keyfob, swipe card or biometrics. An electronic access control system may link all the doors in a building that can be controlled by the administrator in a central location. This makes it easier to assign access privileges to each user. In some instances multiple layers of security access may be required especially if there are a large number of users.
